We are currently looking for a Calgary Area sales representative.

The successful individual will service already existing accounts in person, by phone and by email. We are also looking for someone to find new accounts and set them up as long standing, loyal Planet Foods customers. The position involves taking orders at regular intervals, negotiating as well as providing value added services such as arranging promotions. A vehicle is required.

Qualifications Needed:
MS Excel skills (tabs, cut/paste, formulas, print parameters, formatting, etc.)
Business to business or food retail sales experience (2 to 5 years minimum)
Outgoing Positive Enthusiastic Focused Committed to customer service
Committed to a healthy and environmentally aware lifestyle
Organized
Able to recognize an opportunity and act on it
A communicator

Planet Foods Creates Employee Recycling Program

Planet Foods believes strongly in recycling & reducing waste. When their employees voiced their concern about the City of Calgary not offering a city wide plastics recycling program to the public, Planet Foods offered a soloution. Planet Foods now offers its Calgary employees the opportunity to recycle their plastics. Each Calgary employee is encouraged to bring in their plastics to work. A bin is provided to hold the plastics for the monthly pick-up arranged with Plastic Possibilities.
